22/07/10 - The Salisbury Volleyball Clubs AGM is on Thursday 19th August 2010.
08/07/10 - The decision has been made to keep 'training' outdoors for the foreseeable future. We will reconvene indoors
sometime in August (exact date to be confirmed, watch this space for details)
06/05/10 - The Club will now being playing outdoors on Hudsons Field, Salisbury, every Thursday evening starting from
Thursday 13th May. Start time around 7pm onwards (subject to weather conditions)
06/05/10 - The Godolphin School is now CLOSED for exams. Indoor training has ceased until later in the year, watch this
space for updates.

The Salisbury Volleyball Club (SVC)
was founded in the 1980's with a
handful of dedicated members and has now flourished. Today it attracts
players from across the city and even further afield. SVC has a men's, mixed and ladies team competing in the local volleyball league
( Wiltshire Volleyball Association )
as well as many other indoor
and outdoor tournaments.
Ten members make up the SVC Committee.

Vision & Development
Development
Vision
The vision of the Salisbury Volleyball Club is to competitively
play volleyball at the highest possible standard, whilst developing and training junior & beginner level players.
We aim to accomplish these goals by providing local communities with opportunities for people to participate in competitive volleyball, incorporating all abilities and age ranges.
We provide our players with the best possible coaching, including both physical and psychological aspects of the game, utilising excellent facilities within a friendly environment.
Salisbury volleyball is a feeder club for the
New Forest National League Volleyball Club.
Registered players are:
Ladies - Lynsay Scratchley, Sarah Newstead & Carly Lane.
Mens - Tim Kirton, Daryl Uban & Ben Noke
Dan Riddle from SVC is currently training with the England Junior Squad & Wessex VBC.

Training Venue
Training & match nights are held at the Godolphin School, Salisbury
on a Thursday evening between 20:00 - 22:00hrs.
Fees: Training £5 per night for adults, £3.50 for 14 to 17 year olds.
Annual subscription: £15
Match fees: £1.50 per set played
Please note: No outdoor shoes are to be worn in the sports hall at any time

The Druids are the first team of SVC. A rollercoaster year of 08/09, but a final push at the end of the season saw them maintain their premiership place for the forthcoming season.

The Ladies team is open to all female players of SVC and boys under 16.
A seperate league is scheduled for teams across WVA which meet approximately 5-6 times through the year at weekends.
The competition is held outside of the main league.
08/09 season saw the Bluestones finish third, and with
new members this year we have high hopes for the new season.
